TRAM SESSIONS.COM
We have launched or new website! It’s over at www.tramsessions.com
Keep the Faith
What a long-lived project some of you might be thinking. Yes, to be honest, it doesn’t look like we have been very active lately. But the truth is that we have been working hard with structuring the machinery that is Tram Sessions.
The machinery includes a new shining website which very soon will be up. We can also proudly say that we are a certified non-profit organisation! And then there is a lot of other things keeping Tram Sessions together, which we finally can cross of the lists of things to do.
In short; there are more things going on than what it looks like. We can soon say that we are out of alpha and in beta mode!
Even shorter; Keep the Faith.
Courtney Barnett – The Hotel Song
We are not gonna bore you with the technical difficulties we have had the last couple of weeks. Although, you will see there something wrong in the beginning of the film, but this film must be uploaded today, we promised that!
So enjoy Courtney strumming her guitar with her bandaged hand and “the Little Drummer Boy” Oliver tapping his cowbell and drumming the pole to “The Hotel Song”.
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas Southern Hemisphere!
Nick and I wish you all a great day! We have already celebrated christmas, gotten our presents, eaten meatballs (of course), ham, salmon, herring, been drinking schnapps, glögg and beer, played board-games and watched Donald Duck. Yes, we watch Donald Duck on christmas. Crazy huh!?
Big apologies for the lack of updates, especially to Courtney for having too wait sooooo long for her video to come up. It will come as soon as my computer decide to be kind to me. We really hope that all of you can forgive us, and I think you should, after all it’s christmas time!
Have to run, we gonna have a snowball fight, make an igloo and I really have to take out the polar bear for a walk. Adieu.

Touched By A Parsnip – Stand By Tram (ts#5)
Feels like a while ago.
As night fell over Melbourne we met up with the people from Touched By A Parsnip outside the State Library. We geared up, setting up our “Poor Man’s Steadicam”, testing tape, testing microphone, testing that Björn could take photos. And suddenly we were on a tram, the microphone was not plugged in and the camera shut down. Luckily the next stop was the last stop on that line. Out on the station we tried to sort out the problems while the band sang us a song about the state of technology. After some tinkering we had the gear ready again, this time fully working and we got on the tram and travelled all the way somewhere from above La Trobe and down to St Kilda Road.
Touched By A Parsnip improvised greatly and got the commuters on board to sing as well! Here’s the second song from the session, “Stand By Tram”.
Session with Courtney Barnett
Tonite it’s time for another session. If you will, please come along for a ride on tram 86 with us and Courtney Barnett. We’ll be going from gertrude/brunswick at 7. See you then!
